The pastor at the church said, “You want a New Year’s Resolution? How about stop being a wimp? You want to lose weight? Here, eat less, exercise more. Do it.”
Ain’t that the truth?
I don’t really believe in New Year’s Resolutions. The concept of cutting up segments of time in an infinite timeline and arbitrarily say, “Here, on this special day, I’m going to be a better person, but not before then!” just makes no sense to me. On top of that, you give up after one month.
You can make that decision to be better every single day.
Everyday, be a little bit better.
Everyday, train a little more.
Everyday, eat a little healthier.
Everyday, be less of a wimp.
I’ve had people wanting to learn Bagua and Xingyi for me for over 2 years. They’ve talked about it for over 2 years. They could’ve learned the whole curriculum by now. A journey of a thousand miles begins with 1 single step. Have you taken that step yet? When will you take that step? When will you stop being a wimp?
