Fall of 2024 Bagua Zhang update in Beijing!

As the Autumn Equinox arrives, the Beijing Bagua Zhang Museum successfully hosted its plaque unveiling ceremony along with the debut of Li Xiuren’s new book, A Detailed Study of Chinese Martial Arts’ San Zi Jing. Friends from all walks of life gathered to celebrate this meaningful event.

Founded by Ms. Li Xiuren in 2013, the Beijing Bagua Zhang Museum is a private institution built entirely through her own efforts. After 11 years of perseverance, the museum has become one of the first in Beijing to be recognized as a formal institution of its kind, receiving an official plaque from the Beijing Municipal Administration of Cultural Heritage.

During the event, practitioners of the four major styles of Bagua Palm in Beijing—Yin, Cheng,Liang, and the relatively rare Fan style—performed on stage. The event showcased:
- Liu Zhengang’s mastery of the Yin style, inheriting the techniques from Cao Zhongsheng’slineage
- Zhao Fengyong’s expertise in the Cheng style, continuing the tradition of Zhu Wenbao’slineage
- Fu Xiaolin and Chen Xu’s display of the Liang style, passed down through Li Ziming’slineage
- Bian Honglei’s demonstration of the Fan style, featuring the unique “Champion Brush”technique from Fan Fenglan’s lineage

The performances highlighted the rich diversity and cultural heritage of the four Bagua Zhanglineages in Beijing.

This event marks another important milestone for the Beijing Bagua Zhang Museum, further establishing its role in preserving and promoting traditional Chinese martial arts.
