When I started Dragon Gate Kungfu, I didn’t think I would be hosting birthday parties. One day, Oscar came to me and asked if he could come to class on Sunday because it’s his birthday.
I said, “You want to come to CLASS on SUNDAY because it’s your BIRTHDAY?”
He nodded with a big smile, “YESSSS!”
I was happy someone loved my classes so much, so I asked, “You want to have have your birthday party here then?” And that set everything else in motion.
