#4 Optional Opt-In Curriculumn: Combat Taichi
Taichi means POLAR EXTREME or GRAND OPPOSITE!
The Yin and Yang Taichi philosphy describes this art having extreme opposites. We strike high and low. We attack left and right. We advance forward and retreat backwards. Our attacks consists of hard and soft. We also vary our practice with fast and slow pace.
This is NOT a Slow-Forms and Push Hands only Taichi curriculumn.

Everybody knows about the the Yang Style Founder Yang Lu Chan – nickname known as Invincible Yang (Yang Wu Di), who beat many of the martial arts masters when he went to Beijing to make a name for himself. However, his sons (also Taichi Masters) said when they were young, they ran away from home because Taichi training was too painful and full of suffering.

#6: Traditional Wudang Weapons Training
This is traditional Wudang weapons training. Wudang Shan (Wudang Mountan) is a hub where various lineages of Wudang Monks gather to live and train. Our lineage falls under “Dragon Gate” and our weapons training focuses mainly in the short staff (13 grips / ~45 inches) and the Spear.
