#4 Optional Opt-In Curriculumn: Combat Taichi

Taichi means POLAR EXTREME or GRAND OPPOSITE!

The Yin and Yang Taichi philosphy describes this art having extreme opposites.  We strike high and low.  We attack left and right.  We advance forward and retreat backwards.  Our attacks consists of hard and soft.  We also vary our practice with fast and slow pace.

This is NOT a Slow-Forms and Push Hands only Taichi curriculumn.

This is NOT Taichi for health, this is Taichi for fight.

Everybody knows about the the Yang Style Founder Yang Lu Chan – nickname known as Invincible Yang (Yang Wu Di), who beat many of the martial arts masters when he went to Beijing to make a name for himself.  However, his sons (also Taichi Masters) said when they were young, they ran away from home because Taichi training was too painful and full of suffering.

This is for people who enjoy pain and suffering…
